2014 A/L Best Results-holder's list

Names-list of Winners of First, Second and Third positions of A/L results released  
Female students ahead compared to male students

Results of the last A/L examination was released this evening. As such, a list of names of those who achieved First, Second and Third places in the island in each subject has been released by the Examinations Department. 

Hiruni Udara of Matara Sujatha has won First place in Bio-Science section; Pakyasan Darukisan of Jaffna Hindu College has been placed First in the subject of Maths while Piyumi Dhananjana of Galle Southlands College has been successful in being placed First from the Commerce stream. Nethsala Pathirana of Colombo Vishaka Balika has been placed First in Arts section and Nipuni Dias has won First place from General Subjects section.

Female students have achieved First, Second and Third places in both Arts and Commerce sections while First and Second positions have been claimed also by female students this time.
