CID typewriter issue & American Aba Sarana

Still ancient typewriters in CID .... no computers
We are supposed to be terrorists
If things go on like this .... Aba Saranai to America!
                                                  -- Gnanasara Thero

We can't do without ruled books
                                                 --  Police Media Spokesman
Except Thun Sarana .... I haven't heard of a 'Aba Sarana' talk
                                                --   Minister Keheliya

Galagodaththe Gnanasara Thero had spent his time hanging around for a number of hours and come back once more after going to the CID, to give a statement.

The thero who criticised the CID after coming from there told the media that the CID wasted much of his time and that he had to spend a number of hours until his statement was typed out and that there is still no process of records being maintained on computers there.

The thero further said that he who had not even touched a firearm is being accused like this and that if things go on like this .... what he has to tell America is Aba Saranai.

Replying this, what the Police Spokesman said was that books with ruled paper is necessary to take down a statement of an offence and that a computer was not used for such a purpose only and not that there are computers that are not available.

Minister Keheliya who replied the remark on 'Aba Saranai' said that though he has heard of Theruwan Saranai, Budu Saranai, Devi Pihitai so far.... this was the first time he heard of a 'Aba Saranai' talk.
