Infant dies after circumcision at Maligawatta

3 months old Muslim  baby dies ... because of irregular circumcision
It is reported from Maligawatta area of an incident where a Muslim child aged 3 months died as a result of a circumcision done in an irregular  and neglectful manner.
the deceased infant is Mohammed Hamdan, a baby boy aged 3 months born to a father and mother living in Meetotamulla area in Wellampitiya.

Maligawatta police have taken into custody a person by the name of Mohamed Niyaz, 47 years of age and who calls himself a Physician conducting a dispensary in Maligawatta area.The Magisterial inquiry on the child's body was conducted yesterday by Colombo No. 4 Magistrate Mrs. Augusta Atapattu. The post-mortem was conducted by JMO Mr.Shriyantha Amararatna.
