A 4 hour nonstop to celebrate 14th Sha FM
The 12th anniversary of Sha FM would be celebrated tomorrow (Jan 21)with the launching of a programme where the most acclaimed male and female vocalists would be singing within the shortest time-limit ever. This programme is scheduled to start at 6 in the evening tomorrow on January 21 and would be broadcast Live till 12 midnight. It is learnt that All Right music band would be on stage for the programme. It is also understood that in the process, on behalf of the Sha FM celebrations popular singers admired by many are expected to conduct various programmes right throughout the day, beginning from morning.
On the streets on behalf of dogs
A group of individuals who were to take to the streets for the sake of dogs were heard of and it was on behalf of the Rights of animals and their ownership. Several members of the Sri Lanka Ahimsa Organisation had come to the streets with the motive of making drivers understand the safety of innocent dogs found here and there on the roads. A series of stickers focusing attention on a verse was seen on the stickers on this occasion.
