SURAJ MAPA'S SMS TROUBLE

because of SMS issue

   Popular teledrama actor had to go to police today (3) to solve an SMS issue. A few days ago he had complained to the police about an incident where various rumours were being spread around from place to place via SMS and in a manner that tends to damage his reputation. The Mirihana Police called him to present himself to verify the identity of the individual they had arrested in this connection.

   Though Suraj called over at the police, after seeing the person, he said that he was not connected to the tele-field and that he was not a character known to him. Whatever it is, the suspect told the police that he has not sent any SMS of that type. The police are questioning him further.

   What Suraj says is that this SMS has contained false information and it has been sent from time to time to many persons known to him. This SMS had been sent to mobile phones of many teledrama actresses and it has been received by certain other actors as well as some artistes.

   Some of those who received the message had informed Suraj about this and because of this he had been deeply heartbroken. It was after that that he had resolved to bring this to the notice of the police.

   Suraj identifies this issue as a malicious attempt to halt his progress in the field and he further said that he would be taking steps in this connection against the suspects in the future.
