J'PURA STUDENTS' PROTEST ON HIGH LEVEL ROAD

A Protest Walk was started yesterday (26) from the University of Sri Jayawardenepura to High Level Road, Nugegoda based on a number of demands of the Inter-University Students' Council.         The protest marched on defying police intervention and even held a rally near Nugegoda bridge. As a consequence there was a big traffice-block along High Level Road last afternoon. University authorities complained that freshers were forced to join in the protest.
