If told to quit Minister post and leave .....
No problem ..... I'll go
For us the country is great, more than the Minister post
These are not things to embrace ... hug
Wimal Weerawansa expressed a statement challenging the government, at the May Day rally held separately by the United National Front at the United National Front Alliance of the May Day rally held yesterday, saying that he is prepared say goodbye to his Post of Minister. What he said was that a problem has cropped up in relation to the delegation of powers in the Northern PC Council where elections will be held. The statement he made is as follows:
"This holy pilgrim motherland is once again facing a number of challenges which can't be spoken of on a United National Front Alliance platform. If elections are to be held in the North, the first provincial council police powers will be in operation. When that happens, it will create an environment where camps in the North will not be able to exist. Hon. President, the Northern PC cannot be left to remain with separate powers. If it is inferred that it should not be so and to leave the Ministerial Post ..... no problem ..... I'll go ..... for us, the country is great ..... these are not things to embrace or hug. These are held in a loose manner ..... in a manner that it can be released slowly whenever necessary. PC powers granted to the North must be stopped .... then can get out ..... not that's impossible".
