“The Member of Parliament who sits in front of me a famous cattle thief”
“Next to him is a ‘ganja’ man. There is drug dealer as well. There is another convicted for snatching gold chains from passengers in the train.”
“There is another who together with in informal wife had burnt his girl friend”
Ranjan Ramanayake the famous actor and a member of Parliament has had an interview over the internet “Skype” in the programme “Boston Lanka News”, Sinhala channel. During the facts disclose he had challenged that our Parliament cannot be called ‘eminent’.
He had emphasised that in a Parliament which is full of thieves and murderers. The removing of the Chief Justice is a joke...............
“How can this Parliament be eminent? When I sit in the Parliament I take my seat in the Parliament and look forward the Member of Parliament seated in front of me a cattle thief. Next to him sit another Member of Parliament is a person convicted for selling ‘ganja’. Could this be called an eminent Parliament?
There is another person who had been caught for snatching gold chains in trains. There is another person who got together with his informal wife and burnt his girl friend. Next to him is a famous terrorist Karuna Amman who was instrumental in killing a number Buddhist Monks at Arantalawa .Strangely a Buddhist monk Ellawela Thera sits beside him. In this context I am asking you whether this Parliament could be called eminent. How could people having such notorious backgrounds take decision against the Chief Justice.
Can the cattle thieves,’ ganja’ dealers, persons who snatch gold chains, opium dealers who makes laws within the Parliament given powers to take decisions. This matter is similar to a big ‘joke’ like situation unlike what happens in other countries. The position of the Chief justice is chosen by a panel of intellectuals
In this country if any person who kneels down in front of the Leader, who is very obedient to him and goes to ‘boutique’ are appointed to responsible positions. That is the way in Sri Lanka I am an artiste who speaks the gospel truth. These are things that have to be told. The Chief Justice also in the earlier stages bent down in front of the higher persons and did go to ‘boutique’. The President was her right hand to appoint her. She gave permission for the 13th and 17 amendment Acts. She also gave several correct judgements. To take revenge the impeachment motion was brought against her .However in the National Savings bank share issue case when the Chief justice’s husband Pradeep kariyawasm was its Chairman she got stuck.
The member of Parliament Arundika had openly told the media that the chief justice was against the ’divineguma’. This was the reason that the President and the rest oust her. The correct story is known to the whole world."
