Reshuffle of Cabinet Ministers to take place on the 11th
Will Ratnasiri be appointed the Prime Minister again?

Internal sources within the Government sources are contemplating seriously of giving the Premier post once more, for the third time to Ratnasiri Wickramanayake, who is presently a Senior Minister in charge of  Good Governance and Infrastructure facilities..The present Premier D.M. Jayaratna has been approved leave for three months extended leave to rest from the 22 nd  December after he returned to the country from America after treatment. It is learnt his present health condition do not permit him to attend to meetings and give decisions.
On the other hand The Senior Minister Ratnasiri Wickremanayake possesses enormous experience having been appointed as the Prime Minister during the regime of the Chandrika regime and during the period of President Mahinda Rajapaksa regime. When he was removed from the post of Prime minister and made him a Senior Minister he was very hurt and was in a state of displeasure, particularly as he was the most competent person to hold and continue with the post of the Prime Minister It is learnt that he is to be appointed as the Prime Minister prior to the reshuffle of Cabinet Ministers scheduled to be held on the 11th December.
According to reports from reliable sources there are going to be some changes in the Portfolios they hold now. There are expecting changes in the cabinet portfolios of the Minister of Education, Higher Education and Petroleum.
