The King MsWATI of Swaziland who visited Sri Lanka became a very popular personality over here. About his very peculiar way of life has been displayed over several web sites. He had faced a much unexpected happening faced by the behaviour of the Kings 12th Queen ‘Nothendo Dude’ while the King was away in Taiwan. After given much thought the 14 queens were selected by the King. They were all treated very well and treated them as his life. He never allows anyone to touch them. However in August 2010 there was a very unpleasant incident reported. It was when....
The queen ‘Nothengo’ had been caught inside a hotel room with the then Minister of Justice, Nudumisso Mamba. The manner she was caught red handed was shown with pictures in the media which made the fellow country to ponder. This incident had taken place while the King was away in Taiwan.
This particular queen of the King, ‘Nothengo’ loved to wear the forces uniform. When the King was away she was used to go out in that uniform. She had left the Palace in her usual uniform with her security personnel saying she needed to buy medicine for her sick child.
After travelling about 10 kilometres she had told that it is not prudent to go to a hospital to see a doctor in this uniform and had asked her to be dropped in to a hotel room to change her attire. The security personnel had felt something fishy as she never returned for about an hour. They had observed from the hotel cameras what was happening in the room. They had knocked at the door and shouted “ Madam Nothengo” and they had heard a noise from inside the room. After the door was opened ‘she asked why you all came”.  Is there anybody inside the room, “she quipped No , No”. For their surprise they had seen the queen lying on the bed with her body covered with a sheet.
The suspicious security personnel had searched the hotel room. They found the Minister of Justice Nudumisso Mamba under the bed in the room. They were caught red handed and the incident was published in the media. This news astonished the people of the country.
The King had loved this queen, Nothengo very much who had been selected at the age of just 16 years at a ‘Reed’ dance festival. When this horrible news reached the King MsWATI who was touring Taiwan returned immediately. He had dispelled both the Minister and the queen.
