EXPERIMENTS ON PAHIYANGALA SKELETON WILL BE MADE IN GERMANY

The skeleton of 18 year old girl predicted to be about 35000 years old found while excavating earth:

During an excavation process in Pahiyangala , a skeleton of a young girl estimated to be about 35000 years old had been found. It is proposed to be sent to Germany next Saturday by the Authorities of the archaeological department to experiment.

It is learnt that this skeleton may be the oldest skeleton of a human being ever found in the Asian region. By next Saturday the initial experiments of the skeleton made by archaeological experts in Sri Lanka are to be completed and plans have been made for the skeleton to be sent to Germany to obtain a report by the related experts over there.

It is predicted that the skeleton found probably is of a girl between 16 years to 18 years in age. It had also been guessed by experts that it would have been buried between 12000 to 35000 years ago.

It is reported that along with this skeleton many other articles were found while excavating the land and it was interesting findings for the subject of Anthropology. The place that was excavated was 110 metres above sea level and they were found 1 ½ metres beneath the earth. It is learnt that the body had been laid very respectfully; the head pointing towards the north while the legs pointing towards the south.
