KUDU MERVIN’S DEAD BODY IS BURNT AT THIMBIRIGASYAYA

Kudu Mervin’s body burnt at Thimbirigasyaya

It is reported that a dead body is been burnt at this moment at Thimbirigasyaya. It is reported that this is happening at Boteju Mawatha along Thimbirigasyaya road. What had been identified is as that of the  body of Nethias Chandrapala alias “Kudu Mervin” who is said to have been abducted yesterday near the Aluthkade Courts complex premises. Police and Special forces have been deployed to investigate. It is learnt said that crowds are gathering in their numbers to witness this rare incident.
Nethias Chandrapala alias “Peliyagoda Kudu Mervin” had been one of the famous drug dealers, who was abducted yesterday afternoon (13th) near Aluthkade courts by an unknown armed gang. He has been remanded for several drug dealing cases before. He had been accompanied by Prison officers from the Colombo remand prison to be taken before the courts .This abduction had taken place when he was to be taken back to the remand prison.
It has been reported in the Police reports that Kudu Mervin imports 75 to 100 kgs of drugs from India and that he has had connections with the LTTE. It was also mentioned that Peliyagoda and Dematagoda had been the main centers for his dealing of drugs
Kudu Mervin was caught to Wellampitiya Police a long time ago with 950 grams of drugs while he had pretended to act as disguised  porter was arrested again with 13 grams found with him by the Drug Squad and Surveillance Unit.
It is suspected that he was burnt by the people who abducted him.
