A SRI LANKAN WITHOUT A VALID VISA HAD TRIED TO KILL VISA OFFICERS IN SOUTH KOREA

A fleet of visa officers had come to check him while he was driving a ‘Folk Lifter’. He had tried to kill all of them, only one them very fortunately been injured seriously and admitted to a hospital

 It is reported that a Sri Lankan who has had a valid visa to stay in South Korea only until the year 2003 had overstayed until now without a valid visa for 9 years.
A fleet of Visa officers from the Immigration & Emigration Department had come to check him while he was driving a ‘Fork Lifter’. He had tried to run over all of them driving the ‘Fork Lifter’ at very high speed. One of them had been injured rather seriously. He had been admitted to a hospital for treatment. The others had narrowly escaped.
 This incident had been captured into a video and it had been shown in several TV channels in South Korea. This has brought a big disrepute to Sri Lanka. There are thousands already employed in South Korea as skilled workers and many are waiting to go for jobs and are eagerly waiting for their turn. This incident would definitely cause a black mark and disadvantage to those who intend in finding employment in South Korea, as this incident would have definitely tarnished the image of our country.
