During the recent past a much spoken topic among mainly Tele drama followers was the story of Nehara and Menaka Rajapaksa, particularly in regard to the breaking of her first marriage. When Gossiplanka News web site interviewed her to find details of her connection with Menaka, she totally denied all allegations saying that the relationship is confined only to a close friendship she has had with Menaka for long period of time. Menaka too had maintained the same stand when he was interviewed by a popular newspaper almost subsequently.

In spite of these confessions the original story was spread and was spoken about at every nook and corner. Amidst all these talks suddenly Nehara has broken all shackles to become a singer. She has released her first CD album, named “Entire World”. Most of songs are now heard over several FM channels. The title song has very appropriate lyrics which have a close resemblance to her close relationship with Menaka and it is sure to become a ‘title’. The English translation of these lyrics goes like this... “Although the entire world eludes me today you have become my whole world”. It may have been a coincidence to become a singer with a song with such lyrics to go along with her stories with Menaka which had been the cynosure of many people.
