KELANI-SEVANAGALA FARMERS AT HIGH COURTS

Because of decoy Sevenagala farmers from kelaniya a scene like a stage drama at the court premises with true Sevanagala farmers.

In Colombo’s Appeal High courts premises today there was a tensed situation was reported .The reason was that the Act to take over the losses sustained institutions were to be passed to be taken over by the Government was challenged by a human rights fundamental rights petition submitted by Ven.Thimyawela Palitha Thera in protest against the acquiring the Sevanagala factory was taken up for hearing.
While the hearing was heard a certain group of supporters of Government identified as from the Kelaniya seat had joined the true employees of the Sevanagala farmers pretending as if they are also Sevanagala farmers who have come to support the cause of the true Sevanagala farmers. They have tried to interrupt the proceedings.
The so called ‘Kelaniya Sevanagala supporters” had screamed saying  that there is no such problem in defence of the motion filed in courts by Ven.Thimyawela Palitha Thera.
This group from Kelaniya it is learnt had been organised and sent by a famous politician from Kelaniya against the motion filed on behalf of genuine Sevanagala farmers.
