Last week M.P. for Colombo ( Borella seat)  Thilanga Sumathipala had visited the President at ’Temple Trees’ to make a complaint to him that Hiru FM is slinging mud at him. “He told see President Renor’s channel is continuously slinging mud at me. In their web site they have stated that it was he who shot Duminda.” When this was heard the President’s face completely changed. In their web site and Hiru Fm channels they have said indirectly that a powerful politician from Borella had shot Duminda, Thilanga told the President the elder brother of Duminda owner of Hiru FM wants to tarnish his good image. They have published wrong information. It is only the ‘Hiru’ FM web site such information had been published.
The President immediately called his Assistant Secretary Gamini Senerath to take a call to Renor.”Hello, who is speaking is it Renor” had asked the President. He had said that ‘I have already lost Bharatha and Duminda, are you trying to harm Thilanga also.’ It has to be stopped immediately. Do you understand the President had spoken to him in anger? Thilanga had left “Temple Trees” with consolation and in happiness.
