A protest march organized by the 'Jana Aragalaya' (People's Struggle) movement against the proposed PSTA bill by the government arrived near the Parliament entrance with a unique form of protest. Actor Jehan Appuhamy became a prominent figure in this protest.

He participated in this protest shirtless, displaying the tattoos on his body. It is recognized that Jehan, who carried a cross through the streets during the 2022 'Aragalaya' (struggle) period demanding justice for the Easter attack victims, has once again made his protest stand out.

This protest march began at the Polduwa Junction. From there, the main objective of the protesters who marched towards the Parliament entrance was to express their strong opposition to the proposed 'Prevention of Terrorism and State Protection Act' (PSTA) and the 'Organized Crime Bill' to the lawmakers.

The 'Jana Aragalaya' movement, which organized this protest, points out that the proposed bills could impact the fundamental rights and freedom of the people in this country. They arrived at the Parliament, led by a shirtless actor, with the serious accusation that people's freedom would be restricted.
