MTV Music Video Awards Night 2026 - Red Carpet (photos)

The 2026 MTV Video Music Awards ceremony was held with great grandeur at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles last Sunday, September 27. World-renowned rapper Snoop Dogg served as the main host of this massive artistic spectacle.   Madonna emerged as the artist who won the most awards at this year's ceremony. She managed to secure a total of seven awards, including the main award for Artist of the Year. Additionally, she won the award for Best Choreography for 'Confessions II – The Film' and the award for Best Collaboration for the song "Bring Your Love," performed with Sabrina Carpenter.   Taylor Swift also marked several significant achievements this night. 



Her creation "The Fate of Ophelia" was awarded Best Video of the Year, and she also received the award for Best Direction for "Opalite." Furthermore, Swift was honored with the special MTV VMA Art Director's Honorary Award, presented for the first time in history.   Among other major achievements, Ella Langley won the award for Best Country Music Creation for the song "Choosin' Texas." Additionally, Sienna Spiro was awarded Best New Artist at this year's ceremony.
