Galle Dewata unauthorized constructions demolished amidst 'No, no' shouts (photos)

A special operation to remove unauthorized shops that were operating along the coastline in the Galle Dewata area was carried out this morning (10). Officials from several state institutions, including the Coast Conservation Department and the Police, have taken steps to completely remove these unauthorized constructions.

However, it is reported that strong protests were launched by the local traders against the relevant authorities when they were carrying out the shop removal activities.
