The Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CEYPETCO) has taken steps to revise fuel retail prices island-wide, effective from midnight 12.00 AM on August 30, 2026. According to this new price revision, the retail prices of both types of petrol have been reduced, while diesel and kerosene prices remain unchanged.
Accordingly, the price of Lanka Petrol 92 Octane, which was previously Rs. 414.00 per liter, has been reduced by Rs. 15.00, and its new price per liter is recorded as Rs. 399.00. Additionally, the price of Lanka Petrol 95 Octane Euro 4, which was Rs. 495.00 per liter, has been reduced by Rs. 20.00, and its new retail price is Rs. 475.00.
Meanwhile, the price of Lanka White Diesel per liter remains at Rs. 382.00, and the price of Lanka Super Diesel 4 Star Euro 4 per liter remains at Rs. 478.00, continuing at the previously existing prices without any change. Furthermore, there has been no revision to the price of Lanka Kerosene, which was Rs. 285.00 per liter.
