A humanoid robot has successfully completed the 100-meter race in 9.39 seconds at the World Humanoid Robot Competition held in China. This robot, created by the Beijing Innovation Centre of Humanoid Robotics, surpassed the human world record for the 100-meter event.

Usain Bolt, an eight-time Olympic gold medalist, set this world record in 2009 by completing the 100-meter event in 9.58 seconds. In this achievement, the robot in question defeated two other robots, including one created by Chinese smartphone manufacturer 'Honor'.

The manufacturers state that the robot covered the distance in 9.32 seconds during a training run. The robot competition, which began on Saturday, includes events such as boxing and football matches, as well as demonstrations of household chores like laundry.
