Bodies of mother and two daughters who drowned in the sea at Eapamulla found - Boy still missing

The bodies of three people who went missing after drowning yesterday (30) afternoon while bathing in the sea at Epamulla beach, Pamunugama, Gampaha, have been found. The police confirm that the recovered bodies belong to a 35-year-old woman and two girls aged 04 and 12.

Further investigations and operations are underway to find the 13-year-old boy who went missing in this accident. Police investigations have revealed that the group who drowned are residents of the Ja-Ela area.

Local residents and the police, with the assistance of the Navy, have launched a special search operation to find the other missing child. Pamunugama Police are conducting further investigations into the incident.
