Rohan Orugala in the Intensive Care Unit

Assistant Superintendent of Police Rohan Olugala is currently receiving treatment in the Intensive Care Unit of the Colombo National Hospital due to a sudden medical condition.

Following a sudden illness that occurred on the night of the 30th, he was first admitted to the Kotelawala Defence University Hospital for initial treatment.

While receiving treatment at that hospital, a special medical team examined the Assistant Superintendent of Police as per the instructions of Inspector General of Police Priyantha Weerasuriya, and based on those medical recommendations, steps were taken to transfer him to the Colombo National Hospital for further treatment.

Currently, he is under medical supervision in the Intensive Care Unit of the National Hospital, and responding to a media inquiry, the Inspector General of Police confirmed that Mr. Rohan Olugala's health condition is currently improving.
