One person died in a shooting in Ambalangoda

A person has died in a shooting that occurred during a party at a house located in the Tsunamiwatta area of Galagoda, Ambalangoda. Police investigations have revealed that two individuals who came from a jungle area adjacent to the said house carried out the shooting.

Although steps were immediately taken to hospitalize a thirty-year-old man who was seriously injured in the attack, it is reported that he died there. Police suspect that a pistol-type firearm may have been used for this murder, and the reason for the shooting has not yet been revealed. Ambalangoda Police are conducting further investigations into the incident.
