Opposition Challenges Drug Allegations: MP Ganesan Demands Proof

 

Referring to a recent claim by Deputy Minister Chathuranga Abeysinghe that members of the Opposition distributed drugs during the recent election campaign, Opposition MP Mano Ganesan fired back, urging the minister to name the alleged culprits and explain his inaction at the time. Ganesan, in a statement posted on X, called for the information to be handed over to the Narcotics Police, labelling the accusation as “serious” and demanding accountability.
