Dayasiri -- Harin come to Havelock to see their sons' rugby

At the grounds of Colombo Havelock Park yesterday were 2 ministers of the government among the spectators and they were Dayasiri and Harin. They had come to watch a rugby match in which the sons of the two of them were taking part.

Dayasiri's son was appearing in an event for under 19 rugger team of S. Thomas' College while Harin's son was

appearing for the under 14 rugger team in St. Joseph's College. The two of them were not victorious in the games played yesterday. Dayasiri's son's event lost 10 - 33 while Harin's son's event drew 5 - 5.

An instance is known where Dayasiri and Harin were at dagger's end in the 'Vadapitiya' programme and which almost ended up with fisticuffs. Subsequent to that the two of them had been gossiping here and there that they were good ruggerites. Now sons of both of them engage in the same game.
