Principal who had issued uniform cloth instead of vouchers punished

The lady Principal of Badurdeen Mahmud Balika Vidyalaya in Kandy has been suspended for the offence of issuing uniform materials instead of vouchers.

It is reported that she had flouted the related circular issued by the education ministry officials.It is

learnt that flouting the related circular the Principal had acted according to her own wishes.

The officials of the education ministry  has shown that this case amounts to misusing of the state property act. In this regard investigations are to be made at ministerial level.
