PC Member Jagath Kumara for attacking the police granted bail

During a protest rally held at the Lipton circus by the Samurdhi officers the member of western provincial council Jagath Kumara for the alleged offence of attacking the police was arrested and subsequently granted bail.

Jagath Kumara through an attorney at law had submitted a bail application to the Colombo
Magistrates courts today.

The other day during a rally of the Samurdhi officers the police have made a complained that Jagath Kumara the western provincial Councillor had attacked the police.

The case was postponed to the 11th of July. Jagath Kumara was allowed bail on the submission of two sureties amounting to body bail of rupees 05 lakhs  each.The order was given by the additional Colomob magistrate Chandana Kalansuriya.
