Shell bomb had exploded injuring a soldier during the clearing the area

It is reported when the cleaning operations were under way around  the arms depot in the army camp in Salawa Kosgama a shell bomb had exploded causing injuries to a soldier. The soldier had been admitted to the Homagama hospital for treatment.

A soldier had been clearing the wreckages from the roof of a neighbouring dwelling house when a unexploded shell bomb had exploded causing injuries to the soldier. The soldier had tried to move away by jumping out from the roof when he had got injured.

He is presently been treated at the Homagama hospital.
