IT IS A HOAX THAT I AM COMING TO ENTER POLITICS - FORMER ARMY COMNANDER

The former army commander Daya Ratnayaka has stated that the

news that he is willing to come to politics and will be contesting for the forthcoming election under Mahinda’s party is a  hoax.

Recently it was reported that it was the reason for him not to accept the ambassador position given to him.  But, according to him, he refused the ambassador position due to some practical issues that he has to leave his family in Sri Lanka.
