Ven Sumangala Thera's Elephant business exposed

The elephant business of the Chief Incumbent of the Pannipitiya Dewram Viharaya Ven.Kolonnawe Sumangala thera has been

exposed when Ali Roshan's case was taken up at the Colombo Chief Magistrate courts when senior attorney at law Dileepa Pieris appearing on behalf of the Attorney General had informed that 03 elephants of Ven Kolonnawe Sumangala thera had been sold to the Sambodhi Viharadipathi Ven Dharanagama Kusala Dhamma thera for settling some debts.

Ali Roshan had been denied of his bail application and was ordered to be further remanded by the Colombo chief Magistrate as the senior lawyer representing Attornet General had said investigations on the sale of elephants are been in progress hence Ali Roshan cannot be given bail and was ordered to be remanded till the 02nd of April.
