NAWAGATHTHEGAMA TEACHER DENIES POLITICAL RUMOURS

I am coming on stage, is a con .....
-Teacher who knelt down

     When rumours were spreading that provincial council member Ananda Sarath because of whom an uproar was created for having made a teacher of Nawagaththegama kneel down was once again going to contest provincial council elections, another announcement made by the media was that if he received nominations, the pressurised teacher was prepared to climb the stage of the opposition party.

    However, the said teacher made a special announcement:                                                              
                                                                                                                  "I'll not get on a political stage or will appear for the North-West elections any day. Such a rumour is going across all over the country. There's no other profession in the world other than the profession of teaching. This is only another case of  harming women. During the past, electronic and printed media made a strong unjustified degrading broadcast against me .... that I'd contest the elections for the provincial council. These are absolute lies. It doesn't matter to me if that provincial council member contests or not ..... it's only the public or masses who takes a decision on him. I'll keep on teaching on my own way. That'll be a consolation for me".
