New is circulating these days that a Sri Lankan had died in Italy after having contacted corona. This news has still not been officially confirmed and foreign affairs minister, Mr. Dinesh Goonewardena has told the media that genuine information about it is being checked. The Italian consulate has office has still not informed Sri Lanka about it. They had only informed that they are
checking information pertaining to the person who died. The news that has circulated across social media says that one Sri Lankan living in Italy has died and that 8 others are infected.
