Transaction 'files' of former ministers at Temple Trees ... into the hands of the prime minister

A stack of files containing information about transactions of cabinet ministers of the last government has been found by prime sinister Mr. Mahinda Rajapaksa. The said files were found when prime minister Mr. Mahinda Rajapaksa assumed duties at Temple Trees after former prime minister Mr. Ranil Wickremasingha vacated his position there. Information sources say that there is no doubt about the authenticity of information contained
in those files. 

Former prime minister Mr. Ranil Wickremasingha was at Temple Trees for a period of four and a half years. On arrival of prime minister Mr. Mahinda Rajapaksa an all night pirith sermon was held last Tuesday accompanied with an almsgiving to the maha sangha. On arrival of prime minister Mr. Mahinda Rajapaksa,workers engaged in cleaning up duties have come across those files. It is also reported that the files were neatly arranged. Transactions carried out by some ministers and information connected to promotional activities or have carried out such activities were detected in those files. It is reported that there were files about every minister. For instance names in connection with tender-agreements, local parties related to the deal, their addresses and their telephone numbers were found there, it is learned. In the same way, information pertaining to prices of tenders were available. It has come to be known that these files were prepared by former prime minister Mr. Ranil Wickremasingha. 

A question has cropped up as to what prime minister Mr. Mahinda Rajapaksa is going to do regarding this. Before Mr. Mahinda Rajapaksa is to make a study on these files and taking some relevant action, he would be taking measures to confirm the veracity of these files, it came to be known through another source.
