Pujith and Hemasiri once again to remand custody on high court orders!
Colombo high court judge decided a short time before that granting bail by magistrate court was contradictory to inspector general of police Mesrrs. Pujith Jayasundera who has been sent on compulsory leave and former secretary of defence Hemasiri Fernando.
As such, what Colombo chief judge Mr. Vikum Kaluaarachchi ordered was that bail provided be
nullified. Under these circumstances high court judge issued orders to take action to send Messrs. Pujith Jayasundera and Hemasiri Fernando to remand prison. Prior to this Pujith Jayasundera and Hemasiri Fernando were set free in the case relating to responsibility over the Easter attack; however in this instance they are once more taken into custody and sent to prison.
