Indian Prime Minister arrives in Sri Lanka

India's Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi arrived at Katunayaka airport at 11 this morning (9) on a one-day official tour in Sri Lanka. The Prime Minister reached Katunayaka on flight boeing - 731 Indian Airlines while another similar flight accompanied the Prime Minister for purposes of additional safety. He came on board flight AI - 001 belonging to Indian Airlines and Sri Lanka's Prime Minister, Mr. Ranil Wickremasingha, Mr. Malik Samarawickrema and several
politicians were present at the airport to welcome him.  There were 59 aide-de-camp officials accompanying the Indian Prime Minister while the flight staff of both planes were 16 in number.
