According to last G.C.E. ordinary level results, Rashmi Nimesha Gunawardena of Eheliyagoda National School has passed the examination with eight As and a B pass. Incidentally she is a schoolgirl who has lost both her arms and one leg; but equipped with great skills. She has displayed skills for education as well as singing and music and has gone far as being victorious in international competitions too. She even hopes to launch a series of lectures on Positive Thinking in future of how she stood up with mixed with music. 

Rashmi who was by birth without two arms and a leg has taken courage to climb to the top ... she was
not able to even carry out her daily activities in life. But with the guidance and strength of her parents, she made her leg her only weapon she she was able to acquire 153 marks. She further was motivated towards music because of her mother. Rashmi who wishes to become an accountant in future and says that the journey in life which she pursued can be easily achieved by others too. She also says that she hopes to launch a programme which would uplift Positive Thinking combined with a solo musical show called Rashmi Dhara in order to thousands of school children of how to carry on life's journey without making outside influences a hindrance.
