Lasantha Wickramatunga's daughter Ahimsa ... files legal action against Gota in America!

Ahimsa Wickramatunga, daughter of journalist Lasantha Wickramatunga who was killed has filed a civil case in America against former secretary of defence, Mr. Gotabhaya Rajapaksa.This case has been filed claiming compensation from Mr. Gotabhaya Rajapaksa for being responsible for the murder of her father. 

The case under reference has been filed at district court of the city of California, America. Mr. Gotabhaya Rajapaksa who incidentally happens to be an American citizen has by now visited
America. In the meantime, Mr. Gotabhaya Rajapaksa who is supposed to contest in Sri Lanka for forthcoming Presidential Election in order to meet such requirements has handed over required documents to American Embassy last March 6th, it was reported. 

If Mrs.Ahimsa Wickramatunga's case begins in America, removal of Mr. Gotabhaya's citizenship will not be effected till the case is over, reports were published. Former defence secretary Gotabhaya Rajapaksa has revealed information about the Lasantha murder to a month-ending Sunday newspaper last January and in that instance what he has said was, "Actually everybody knows who killed Lasantha. Lasantha's daughter who is supposed to have written commemorative letters about Lasantha is aware of it". 

Ahimsa Wickramatunga who resides in Melbourne city, Australia has responded to her father's murder-revelation has even addressed Sri Lanka Sunday Observer and it is subsequent to that she launches on legal action. The Gossip Lanka previous reply she gave to Sunday Observer about Gotabhaya, from here
