Madush's accomplice Kevuma' keeps couple in Moratuwa rented house and hides crores worth heroin and weapons there!

A rented house belonging to the main accomplice of Makandure Madush the latter of whom is presently under Dubai custody and is known by the name Kelum Indika alias 'Kevuma' was raided last evening in Moratuwa. On that occasion a stock of heroin worth Rs. 205 crores, weapons and several other instruments have been found. 

This heroin store had been maintained in a two-storied house in Rawathawaththa, Moratuwa for a period of time. The quantity of heroin weighs 161 kilogrammes and is worth approximately 205 crores, it was reported. A couple alleged to be the main accomplices of Makandure Maush and were
in the store were taken into custody. 4 boxes containing live ammunition, 2500 bullets of T 56 weapons, a micro pistol produced in a foreign country and a large stock of ammunition for it were found inside the storeroom. In the process, scenes of a video of Makandure Madush's father's funeral was discovered in the form of a DVD as well. 

Kelum Indika had been taken into custody by Peliyagoda police in connection with robbery of the Rs. 500 crores worth diamond and by now he is imprisoned. It has been revealed that heroin stocks belonging to Makandure Madush is transported via sea routes and is concealed in this Moratuwa storeroom for distribution in Colombo and congested areas. 

The couple arrested together with the heroin has been handed over to police narcotics bureau for further investigation. This storeroom had been maintained at a monthly rental of Rs. 25000. Only the ground floor of this two-storied house had been taken by them, it was reported. What police special task force mentioned was that after the suspected couple is interrogated, they will be directed for future surveillance.
