First four students of O/L speak about their achievement in school

All those who passed the ordinary level this time with flying colours are schoolgirls. It is of special interest to note that both first and second are students from Colombo Visakha Balika. While there were 3 second positions, the other achievers of second position were from Gampaha Rathnavali Balika and Matara Sujatha.

When Nilanka Warusavithana who was placed first at the ordinary level came to school and checked her results, she said that she was elated with her achievement and that her teachers helped her and
that she was present in school every day. She said that she engages in hockey and that she is a member of the Western music band as well as the junior prefect in the school and that she hopes to become an engineer in future.

Savithi Hansadi of Visakha who was placed second said that she used to attend to what was studied that same day and that she repeatedly did the exercises. She said that she is thankful to her mother, father and school and advised all students to work to a set plan. Sanjani Dileka of Gampaha Rathnavali who too achieved second position studied what was given that very day ... worked according to a time-table. She described her achievement in that manner. Mindi Rebecca of Matara Sujatha who too was placed in position two said that she did not expect to be placed in the first position but that she is happy about her achievement. The full context of their elaborate description, from the video below
