revealed at budget

According to budget proposals presented today (5), various matters were tabled. As such, vehicle importers' association has expressed ideas saying that prices of vehicles too will be going up. 

This is how production taxes have been
proposed to be increased with the 2019 budget:

Petrol vehicles below 800cc    -- Rs. 150,000

Hybrid vehicles below 800cc   -- Rs. 250,000

Petrol vehicles below 1000cc  -- Rs. 175,000

Petrol vehicles below 1300cc  -- Rs. 500,000

Hybrid vehicles below 1500cc -- Rs. 500,000

Three-wheel vehicles 200cc    -- Rs. 60,000

Tax foe electric vehicles gave been reduced by Rs. 175,000
