Statement from Natasha Ratnayaka about 'Royal dance' criticised ...  being performed without modesty Natasha Ratnayaka

Several criticisms flared up recently across social media about the erotic behaviour of popular model - singer Natasha Ratnayaka during a music concert held at Colombo Royal College some days back.

Prefects' council has organised this concert with the title 'Spark 18' on 29th September by inviting some singers including Natasha for Royal College Development Fund. Natasha has sung several numbers and danced on this occasion wearing short pants and spreading her legs with photos of her
dance circulating across social media rapidly.

Most of those from the audience were school students. It was after that criticisms began to flare up saying that her performance was without any modesty as such. Anyhow Natasha has commented at length on her facebook account with reference to allegations aimed at her.

This is what she had to say: "I am not worried about what society thinks or says about me. Which society is it that actually have the power to dominate lives of the public? Our lives are ours. I do not live to please society at any time. I cannot assist to look at everyone who is supposed to have been insulted. That is not my fault. I have to unfold my story according to the I have chosen and not according to the manner I have chosen in the country that I was born in". In the same way she has made a lengthy verification in relation to Buddhist philosophy in her comment.
